9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

Our Mission

In 2026, we will take on a powerful and symbolic challenge: climbing 110 floors—the height of the World Trade Center towers—to honor the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

Our mission is to unite 343 firefighters from across the UK, each representing a different fire and rescue service, in a collective act of remembrance and solidarity. Together, we will participate in the 2026 Memorial Stair Climb in America, standing shoulder to shoulder with our international firefighting family.

This is more than a physical challenge. It’s a tribute to courage, a show of unity, and a commitment to support those who continue to serve. Through this event, we aim to raise vital funds for two incredible causes:

The Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund – supporting firefighters and their families in the U.S.
The Fire Fighters Charity – providing life-changing support to UK firefighters and their loved ones.

How much will it cost?

We are too soon to confirm a figure but we suspect between £1100 and £1350

Is there a Deposit?

Yes, when numbers have been confirmed

Can we pay monthly?

Yes, we are looking a number of different payment options.

What will be include?

We will be taking care of everything; Flights, Transfers, Accommodation and event entry

What assistance do you need?

Do we take service kit?

Yes, you will need to make sure you have full and clean structural PPE
